Unlike traditional internships that relegate students to observational roles or isolated training exercises, the EL1 program integrates interns directly into our active project teams from the first week. Interns work on real client deliverables under the mentorship of senior engineers and designers, contributing meaningfully to production codebases while building the professional skills and industry knowledge that employers actively seek.

Program Structure & Curriculum

The EL1 program operates on a structured 6-month curriculum that progressively increases in complexity and responsibility:

Month 1-2: Foundation & Onboarding

Interns undergo an intensive onboarding phase that covers our development methodology, coding standards, project management workflows, and collaboration tools. This phase includes structured learning modules on our core technology stack (PHP/CodeIgniter 4, JavaScript/Vue.js, Flutter/Dart, MySQL, Git), paired with hands-on coding exercises and code reviews. By the end of month two, every intern is comfortable with our development workflow and has made their first contributions to staging environments.

Month 3-4: Project Integration

Interns are assigned to active client project teams based on their strengths and interests. Under close mentorship from a senior developer who serves as their dedicated guide, interns take ownership of specific feature implementations, bug fixes, and UI components. Daily stand-ups, weekly one-on-one mentoring sessions, and bi-weekly code review discussions ensure continuous learning and professional growth. This phase represents the core of the EL1 experience, where theoretical knowledge transforms rapidly into practical competence.

Month 5-6: Specialization & Capstone

In the final phase, interns choose a specialization track (Frontend Development, Backend Engineering, Mobile Development, or UI/UX Design) and undertake a capstone project that demonstrates their accumulated skills. The capstone is a real deliverable — it might be an internal tool, a proof-of-concept for a potential product feature, or a contribution to an open-source project. Interns present their capstone projects to the entire Prinent team and invited industry guests.

Technology Tracks Available

The EL1 program currently offers four specialization tracks, each designed around the technologies and skills most in demand in today's job market:

1. Full-Stack Web Development: PHP 8.x, CodeIgniter 4, MySQL, JavaScript, Vue.js 3, Tailwind CSS, REST API development, and deployment workflows.
2. Mobile App Development: Dart programming, Flutter framework, Firebase integration, state management patterns, and app store deployment.
3. UI/UX Design: User research methodologies, wireframing, Figma prototyping, design systems, accessibility standards, and developer handoff practices.
4. Digital Marketing & SEO: Search engine optimization, Google Ads campaign management, social media strategy, content marketing, analytics interpretation, and conversion rate optimization.

Eligibility & Application Process

The EL1 program is open to students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from any recognized educational program in India. We evaluate candidates based on aptitude, enthusiasm, and growth potential rather than existing credentials:

• Eligibility: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Design, Marketing, or related fields. No prior professional experience required.
• Application: Submit your application through our website including a brief statement of interest explaining why you want to join the EL1 program and what you hope to achieve.
• Assessment: Shortlisted candidates complete a practical assessment appropriate to their chosen track. This is designed to evaluate problem-solving ability and learning aptitude, not existing expertise.
• Interview: Final candidates participate in a conversational interview with our team to assess cultural fit and mutual expectations.
• Onboarding: Accepted interns begin the structured onboarding process with their assigned cohort.
